Broxburn Pre-School Playgroup
At Broxburn Pre-School Playgroup, we aim to provide children aged 2 years 3 months to 5 years a safe, caring, learning environment, where they can realise their full potential in a fun and enjoyable manner.
We are registered with the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland.
The Playgroup is also a registered charity, and is run by Parent volunteers. The Parents / Carers are heavily involved in the running and financing of Playgroup.
The Playgroup has been established for many years.
We have two permanent members of staff, who are suitably qualified, and have enhanced disclosures. Their aim is to provide the children with an enjoyable and stimulating learning experience.
Our premises consist of a large well equipped room, with access to a kitchen / dinning area, as well as an outdoor play facility.
There is a cloakroom for the children to change into indoor shoes and hang their coats.
There are appropriate sized toilets with nappy changing facilities and children do not need to be toilet trained to attend.
Your child will enjoy ree play for the first hour of Playgroup. There are a wide variety of toys and activities to choose from, and these are changed on a regular basis. The remainder of the time is slightly more structured, with snack time, outdoor play, singing, stories, games.
