Broxburn’s Almondell and Calderwood Country Park closed six weeks
Broxburn residents are reminded that the visitor centre at Almondell and Calderwood Country Park will be closed for around six weeks.
As of Monday, February 13, the centre will be shut to allow for rewiring and electrical work to be carried out.
The country park will remain open for visitors to enjoy whilst the renovation is carried out.
Visitors will still have access to the toilet facilities.
A spokesman for West Lothian Council said: “We hope that people will continue to visit Almondell and Calderwood Country Park, which will remain open while the refurbishment work at the visitor centre is taking place.
“It is hoped that the visitor centre will reopen in time for Easter.”
